Once again, bringing a variety of Rajasthani textiles to the ramp, the second edition of the Rajasthan Heritage Week returned to Jaipur at Hotel Diggi Palace on Thursday evening. The three-day fashion extravaganza is seeing designers, artisans and weavers spinning their creativity and showcasing some fabulous designs on the ramp. Curated by Prasad Bidapa, the chief creative director of the project, the event was inaugurated by Gajendra Singh Khimsar, cabinet minister of Energy and Industries and Rajeeva Swarup, principal secretary, MSME (Micro Small and Medium Enterprises). The evening also had traditional ghoomar dancers performing on stage, followed by the Kalbelia dancers and then Ger dancers.

Ajay Kumar’s collection had geometric designs and filigree patterns in hand-block printed khadi and handloom fabrics. Mr India Prateek Jain 2014 walked the ramp for Kumar.
