Our first day at Lakmé Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2015 began with a show put up by some of India’s upcoming design stars.

INIFD presented its 20th batch of GenNext designers including: Ajay Kumar (kaleidoscopic, psychedelic prints), Charchit Bafna (androgynous silhouettes that translate well on men and women), Kriti Tula – Doodlage (luxe garments from industry wastes), Jebin Johny – Jesbispaar (a wonderful mix of the Kathak dance and the Japanese Kabuki dance), Ishita Mangal (an interesting crime scene theme), Shivangi Sahni (a boho-luxe collection), and Siddhartha Bansal (inspired by ethnic haveli’s and architecture).
