The Wild MonarchAt Aquafina Vietnam International Fashion Week (AVIFW) F/W 2025, designer Ajay Kumar recreated the majesty of Indian royalty through the lens of the wild and mystical nature of the East in his collection titled 'The wild Monarch'.

Each design submitted to the runway was a dialogue between opposites: strength and fragility, wild instinct and refined beauty. Leopard print, tiger stripes, and other motifs blended with proud symbols like the lotus and phoenix. The palette of crimson, gold, emerald green, and burnt amber continued this dialogue, leaving viewers with unforgettable visual impressions. The collection revives the image of a bygone era of regal beauty, both magnificent and tinged with nostalgia for values that are gradually fading in the modern world.

Throughout the collection, viewers could clearly feel the spirit of craftsmanship and sustainability that designer Ajay Kumar instilled in each design. The bandhgala (a type of men's shirt with a stand-up collar) with its sophisticated structure, the printed bomber jackets, and the silk kurta were all presented in environmentally friendly materials such as cotton-silk blends, linen, and recycled seersucker, creating a truly impressive fusion.

The printing, embellishment, and handcrafted zardozi embroidery techniques are skillfully handled, celebrating the craftsmanship of Indian artisans and elevating each detail into a work of art. With The Wild Monarch, Ajay Kumar affirms his vision of luxury fashion as a responsible and environmentally conscious endeavor that respects the natural world.
